About our Medical Clinic

Our Care Team

The Jackson Free Clinic is a student run free clinic that is operated by both licensed physicians and UMMC students. Medical students are primarily responsible for collecting your patient history as well as conducting a thorough physical examination and addressing any concerns you may have. Afterwards, your medical care team will partner with a physician to create a plan for your medical care.

In the final portion of your visit, a physician will visit with you to talk about your health concerns and discuss his/her treatment plan for you. While this may seem lengthy, this process ensures that each of our patients receives the best quality care we can provide.

At the JFC, we are incredibly thankful to all of our patients for providing our students with a variety of unique educational experiences. We are humbled that you have chosen us to care for you.
